Popularly known as Datey College, the Babaji Datey Kala ani Vanijya Mahavidyalaya was started on July 26 1959 with just 145 students. Today, the student strength exceeds 2,100.
The college conducts courses for under-graduation (junior college – English and Marathi Medium), graduation and post-graduation in Commerce and Arts. The college also conducts MCVC (Minimum Competency Vocational Courses). These are higher secondary vocational courses after passing 10th matric examination.
The college has Girls’ Hostel, well equipped library, Study rooms, Computer Room, fully furnished Auditorium, Geography and Home Science Laboratories, Music rooms, NCC, gymnasium and play grounds.
